According to Sahaja Yoga, there are strong connections between the Hindu pantheon and the Greek divine pantheon.
This Athena itself is the primordial Kundalini. Athena – Atha means primal, primordial. They don’t know, Greeks don’t know, because they don’t know Sanskrit. But Atha means primal, primordial, and Athens comes from that Athena. And She has that snake in Her hand, She is the primordial Kundalini and She came out of the head of Zeus who is a Vishnu. The Greek god Zeus is equated with the Hindu god Vishnu, and Athena is the Kundalini.
In another speech, Zeus is equated with a different Hindu god, namely Indra.
And the Devas are the people, as I told you, those Chiranjivas, all those Gods and Goddesses, and all that. There is a God called as Indra, in Greek, what do you call him? Zeus. Indra is Zeus, like that, so we those Gods and Goddesses, somebody controlling the thunder, somebody controlling this, controlling that. All these, all these Gods and Goddesses is not what you are going to be. You are not made for that.

In one speech by Shri Mataji, Zeus is the same as Indra, and in another speech, he is the same as Vishnu. That would mean that Indra and Vishnu are also the same.
Varuna was the same as this Lord of the Sea – Poseidon Lord of the Sea – Poseidon was Varuna [...].
Poseidon and all these are devas and Devatas are the ones which are on your centres [...].

We learn that Poseidon also has an equivalent in the Hindu pantheon. Furthermore, Poseidon is in our chakras. To be honest, I don't necessarily want Poseidon in my chakra.
Many Hindu gods have a counterpart among the Greek gods. Some even doubly so, e.g., Zeus is the same as Vishnu and the same as Indra. One can think for oneself and listen to one's inner self, whether one accepts the Greek gods or not. When I was a child, I always thought that the ancient Greek religion couldn't be taken seriously. But as a Sahaja Yogi, one must also believe in the Greek gods and believe that Poseidon lives in one's own chakras.
